Well, I'm kind of half working on Contra Comic 8 at the moment, as well as downloading Hurt and Closer by Nine Inch Nails. I drove to the video store today, and rented Top Gun for GameCube. I love a good jet dogfight. Also, I'm almost finished with an article for L&E, retouched up my serious story, and am waiting for Heccubus to remember to read Part One of my funny story. I'll try to get some more content in soon.

Oh yeah. My forum really really sucks, so just post something on Polymorph's forum, and my thread. Ok? You probably do that already though...

I've been skateboarding in my basement lately, and I am slowly getting better. One of the most used, yet under-rated skills is to jump off instead of falling on your ass. Seriously. When I first started, I'd go to jump off when I lost my balance, and my foot would catch and I'd fall on my skateboard. Or I'd go flying off. But now, I can gracefully escape harm. My body knows when I'm about to fall off, so it gets itself to not go flying. Or if I do, my weight gets distributed so I don't land really hard. This sounds really really dumb, but it's a valuable skill. Also, I'm not flying off my board when I try to ollie, either. (For the unitiated, an 'ollie' is how you jump on a skateboard and bring the board with you.)

And now, I'm boycotting the war! The evil corporate America can't ignore the people and get away with it. Sure, I may not have any money anyway, but it's not the point. And don't give me that "But there won't be enough people," crap. Because it's those people who make these protests fail. I was one of them until I realized what I was doing. We have to show them we won't stand by and be ignored. Don't buy fossil fuels. I'd say don't buy firearms, but you need them for when the government gets serious about taking away our rights. At any rate, click here to show those dicks in power how you feel. It'll be on my sidebar now, too.

Also, I might get started on another Contra Comic too. I've been really bored lately. Definately close to The Wind Waker release.

Well, I just came back from the DMV; I got my permit. I drove most of the way home, half freaked out. I got my hair cut too. No more wings on the sides. Except nothing interesting happened. At all. I went thinking: OK! Update time! But nope. The DMV line went along quickly, and the hair cutter did just what I asked. Get it all the same length, shorten it just a wee bit. So what gives? How am I supposed to complain about my life when nothing happens? This sucks. I don't want a boring life. Anything at all could have happened, but did it? No. Zip. Dada. Zilch. Nein. Zero. That's just it, most of the time, my life is really really boring. Nothing happens. I might get another Contra Comic going tonight, but don't count on it. It seems I don't like making so many at once. The lazyness kicks in. In the mean time, go romp on my board, assuming it works.

And now, my archives are working, but the images don't want to load. Sorry. They didn't republish correctly it seems. Oh well, they are there, and the newest one is definatly worth a look, as there is a lot of content, some of which is entertaining.

Ok, the forum is up and running for now. The link is on the left, as usual.

Hmm, I'm gonna figure out how to work this newfangled message board and guest book thing on hostdepartment. I have it under good authority that they don't work very well, but we'll see... the archives will be updated once I finish this...

Ok, I think I just fixed the image problems. See, the FTP server doesn't allow files with more than 24 characters, so I just changed the names of the image files and then fixed the HTML, so I'll see if it works. I'll do the last two weeks archives tonight too.

OK! We're back in business! You'll note that not all the images are working for my template. The FTP thing won't register them once sent for some reason... Other than that, everything should be working OK. I doubt if my archives work yet though. I'll work on them tomorrow. Check for broken links and report them to me via e-mail, please. And now, the main event, Contra Comics 6 and 7. Note: Contra Comic 7 is heavily laden with satire. If you have any respect for anything, you may be offended. If you are afraid of new ideas or are the United States Government, please turn back now. On second thought, check it out and then complain to me. Then I won't have to think up some sort of new content. Anywho, It feels good to be back...

As always, questions/comments are welcome and applauded. Either post them on my thread at the Polymorph Woobored, or E-Mail me.

Here goes nothing... c'mon, work...

Ok, I'm going to FTP everything right now, and then switch over to my new host...

You know, I've been thinking. The great thing about this site, is that I'm only in it for me. You few who read it for the most part are just in it for the ride. I do stuff because I like to. There are tons of times I crack up over stuff, and everyone else will just stare blankly at me. There are times when I'll get a great idea, and write something, and there's a chance it will be funny, but a larger chance it will be stupid. Then there's ideas so cool I can't mess them up, like my Stealth FAQ, or my Contra Comics. I just had to go help someone with chemistry homework, and I've forgotten my point. Oh well... Hopefully I'll get some actual funny content going soon, besides my comics, of course.

I forgot, today was our Spanish class party. For some reason, last week our teacher decided we were going to have mexican food for lunch today. She had people bring in soda, tortillas, food stuffs, etc. I had a chicken quesadilla, and Pepsi. Lots and lots of Pepsi. See, there were onions, and of course I had to stick some in my lunch. Except I forgot one thing. Onion breath. There's almost nothing worse than onion breath, partially because it smells, and partially because it's so resiliant. See, first I tried sloshing soda in my mouth. After six or so large plastic cups full, I realized that didn't work, and tried nacho chips. That didn't do it either, so I sat around wondering what to do. I didn't have any breath mints, or gum, or money to buy said items. Eventually, my brain kicked in and I just asked someone for breath mints. I ended up getting not one, but two cinnimon Altoids. I finished them, assuming that their curiously strong flavor would at least burn all taste from my mouth. All the carbonic acid had numbed my tastebuds, and I barely felt the Altoids. I can still taste onions, and now I feel bloated from all of the CO2. I hope I don't have to talk very close to people...

Also, we had the party while we usually have lunch, and then didn't have class, so I have an extra half hour of study hall today. Woo! But now I'm bored. I can't wait to get home and finish my comic, get everything set up, and then move everything to my new host. Remember, I also did 6 during my down time, so it will seem like two new comics to everyone. It's a win-win situation.

Well, my kick-ass super cool aunt's birthday was yesterday, so I didn't get a chance to move everything to hostdepartment. My Dad had to call her, and I don't blame him. So he spent two hours on the phone with her, one of which was the time I get to use the internet. However, I did almost finish Contra Comic 7! That means tonight, hopefully, the site will be up and running again, and you'll all have two new comics to sink your metephorical teeth into. I feel that this comic will be my best yet, but if I dwell on it, I begin to have feelings of self-doubt, so I won't dwell on it. I loved it when I was writing it. Really. It's going to be great. I can feel it. I'll post the new link on here, and polymorph, and then switch to the new web host. Woo!

Woo hoo! Yes, indeedy, I have a new web host! My address is going to be here. I'm in the process of changing all of my html links, and I'm even feeling up to working on Contra Comic 7 already! I told you I might be doing two a week! I'm so excited! It's a shame I have to get off line now, and that my FTP user name isn't created yet.

On another note, it's almost time. Blood for oil. While Bush is out fighting his self-righteous war, every other country (75 countries, according to Oprah) is protesting. Of course, if Bush has ignored the voices of millions all this time, and he's had alot of practice on our US of A, there is nothing left to do. Here is how this war is going to play out: First, the US troops will take all of the oil fields. Then, people will shoot at each other. I'm not sure yet if the US troops will kill Iraqi troops that surrender or not. I'm steering towards yes. Hussein and his heirs will slip out of the country quietly when he realizes that the US has a reputation for being a hypocritical imperialist pig, while reports of him being hidden in the country will go on for months...

Oh yeah, last night, I forgot to add this. When Bush attacks Iraq, it would be like me walking up to someone I don't like and punching them in the face because I didn't like him, and he might for what ever reason, try to hit me five years from now. That still can't get me down at the moment though. On to Paint Shop!

Well, Hostdepartment is apparantly completely broken now, as even the register page gives me a 404 error. So unless that clears up, I'm going to be questing elsewhere. I haven't gotten any non-spam e-mail at hotmail, either, so no one really feels its urgent to see the next installment of my comic. It's OK though. Soon, hopefully, it'll all be better. Also, I have a slew of more episodes semi-planned (that means notes jotted down, combined with what's coalesced in my head.) I might even push myself to do two episodes a week. Its crazy! And thirdly, here's what my update is about tonight.

Bush has now decided that we are going to go to Iraq. Of course, he decided it sometime over the summer, just before his advisor quit. Karen someone or other. Being the war monger he is, he had a back up plan, in case Iraq decided to take being bullied. First, he sends weapons inspectors over there. They do their job, but say that Iraq "can be a little more co-operative." Then, he pushes them harder. They are still able to do their job, but can find no weapons of destruction. Then, he decides he's through pretending he really wants peace, and tonight goes on about some bullshit. Apparently, Iraq is big on the terror thing, and being a Secular dictatorship, has ties to an Islamic Fundamentalist group. Oh, and he's suddenly lying to the inspectors, and despite not having done anything remotely imperialistic in the last twelve years, is a "threat to the free world." That's code for "well, he may, sometime in the next twenty years or so, threaten American investments, or something." Of course, to Bush, Self-Righteous pig he is, it doesn't matter that France, Canada, Britain (except for Blair. I hope he gets hung in the streets.), Russia, China, and even Kuwait don't want war. As Long as 46% of the misinformed American public want it, and its not an election year, he's going to do what ever he wants. You know what he needs? Someone to just kick him in the face six or seven times.

Well. That was shorter than my usual political rant, and contained no profanity! Kudos to me! Now, it's off to find some free web hosting!

Well, I'm not one to let life get me down for too long! I'm questing to find a web host, and Dr. Perennial turned me on to his web host. I was going to register, except that there is this random number and character code generated at the bottom as a "security measure" (That means someone got bored and was playing with JavaScript). That sounds fine, until you consider that it is in .gif form, and the link is broken! Dum dum dum!

Will Slade get hosted by hostdepartment? Will Red and Blue Pants ever get around to doing anything? Will Bush ever just curl up and die? These answers and more, next time!

On another note, I recieved my paper concerning my admission to the ACTs in May. I'm a little concerned, because the paper was quite unprofessionally folded... Very uneven. I hope someone isn't going to kill me.

Oh, and I'll also send Contra Comic 6 to people per request.

Well, I'm not feeling like writing anything at the moment, it might be that I'm still bummed over not having anything left to do with the site. I hope I can find a hoster soon. Mabe I'll take a break from writing for a while. *sigh*

   Sunday, March 16, 2003
Well, here I am, back on Blogger. *sigh* I made my sixth Contra Comic, but no one can see it, because my web host died. Permanently. So until I can find a new site to host on, you're all stuck without access to anything remotely spiffy on this site. It's depressing just typing about it. I'm going to republish all the archives so you can still get at them on Blogger, and if you can think of any good free sites with FTP capabilities, I'd appreciate it. Note that my e-mail is back to crappy old hotmail. If your somehow someone who doesn't know me, and found this site, if I don't reply within a few days, its because I didn't see your message buried in with the 200 spam mail messages a day I get, so re-send it.
